Review on Efficient Electric Height Adjustable Standing Desk for Home Office - Quick Assembly, 48 x 24 inches, Oak Top/White Frame by Roxanne Medina

Revainrating 4 out of 5

3 star table, 5 star customer service

I'm quite practical - table assembly is nothing compared to household items. I was really impressed with the packaging and how it contained 2 sets of gear. I took my time with the build, I use it and I get an "E10" error that does NOT go away. Error instructions are only the bare minimum in the listing and instructions. They don't fix the problem. Frustrated that I have an adjustable table that is not adjustable. That's ridiculous. Update #1 - Emailed Monomi and they sent video instructions on how to fix the error. The instructions didn't work. In the next email, Monomi asked for a video of me following the steps to fix the E10 error. I agreed and sent the video. Now they are asking to discuss the issue over the phone. Support offered instructions that didn't work for my ECU. The table was listed for $340 two weeks ago and is now listed for $280. Update #2: My review was mentioned in an email from Monomi. I'm still waiting for the solution of the problem. The worst thing about a 55 inch desk that doesn't work is how much space it takes up when you're not using it. Update #3. A new engine is on the way from the manufacturer. This morning they sent me a tracking number. Revain sent a replacement table and the new motor/controller works. Now my table lifts slightly on the motor side but not on the left side. So I emailed Monomi with a video about it. Waiting for an answer. Update #4: It needed a new motor, control panel, and leg (on the non-motor side) to get my new broken-out table working. Now that it's finally working, it's great. I like that I can adjust it and set a custom height. Struggling with assembling and dismantling the table, finally packing up the old table and sending it back - IT'S NOT WORTH IT. I spent $330 and a lot of time trying to get this to work, and many key parts failed immediately. After all, the table top is still made of several chipboards, so I have doubts about the durability of the table. The time will show. TLDR: Motomi did everything possible to fix the problem and sent me the parts needed to make the table work. All in all, I'd rather pay a little more, have a sturdier countertop, and hopefully have a unit that's ready to use.

Pros
  • Good assembly
Cons
  • Not everything fits
