We have such mixed feelings! They are SUPER cute, the charms are perfect, shiny and cute. I was amazed that with such a large collection of tiny earrings, not a single one turned out to be defective. Unfortunately, the design of the clips themselves is a problem. The round tip, located at the front of the earlobe, is a tiny hollow dome with sharp edges at the back. If it were lenticular, with a smooth, convex surface, it would probably be fine. But the clips are very tight, causing those sharp edges to puncture the skin on the little girl's delicate earlobes, causing pain and actual damage over time. It broke my heart when a few days after I gave her these headphones, my daughter's ears started to get caked. Other reviews have mentioned using wax or hot glue to achieve a smooth finish and we'll probably try those. I'm also considering using a dab of aquarium sealant as it's a clear clear silicone once cured. I will update my review when I find the perfect solution. But in the end it shouldn't be necessary. The manufacturer should fix this problem.
