I was getting my 10 month old daughter out of the crib one morning and saw white spots around her mouth. I quickly realized it was because she had buried her new teeth in the bars of her crib. A) disgusting and B) it might not be good for them to eat. I bought this to keep her from eating the crib's trellis and it works great. It is made from a very soft fleece fabric. The fleece is also strong and grippy enough to keep lines tied. In the last 3 months I have only had to redo 2 ties. It definitely doesn't stop my daughter from chewing on the crib - sometimes I walk in and the sheet is a little wet from chewing, but the chewing doesn't reach the wood and damages the crib, which is nice. (Especially since their crib is convertible so I'll need the rails for a step one day!) It was definitely a good buy and worth every penny!
