The plate on the bottom of the cartridge that mates with the washer and spring combination has a smaller crescent shaped notch than the OEM. If you use it with a stopper (from an old cartridge as this kit doesn't include it as it should be given the model number) you will encounter a problem. I replaced the plate from an OEM cartridge to fix this problem. The first photo shows the OEM license plate and the second photo shows the replacement license plate. You'll notice that on the OEM, the crescent-shaped cutout edges extend to just past the center of the panel. The neckline of this replacement is slightly 3mm shorter and obviously makes a big difference.
