This product is exactly as described and exceeded expectations, one of the best purchases I have made from Revain. Like several people who left comments I bought this product for wild cats. This size is ideal for wildlife as they tend to roost and nest in pairs. The size is perfect for two cats. I was researching feral cat houses and just had no intention of building anything. This product seemed simple to me, but I decided to give it a try. Wow, no need to mess around with instructions; Just connect the two pieces together and you're good to go. I placed it on the covered porch lined with a towel the cats slept on just to make sure there was a familiar smell for them to get in. I figured it would take the cats a few days to be brave enough to come inside. An hour later, both cats were comfortably settled in the little house and seemed very happy. The product turned out to be delivered on the first day of frost, so the timing was perfect. If you are looking for a simple yet highly effective product for wild cats, look no further. If you've explored wild cat homes, you'll see some websites that mention that wild animals need two entrances and exits in case they need to flee from predators. I decided that I would cut another hole if the cats weren't using "House". It turned out that this was not necessary. My savages seem very happy with this design. Mine is on a covered porch. If you're putting it in a yard or woods, you might want to raise it off the ground a bit. Not sure about the water/rain issue mentioned in other reviews. There is a small canopy over the door but it may not be enough to keep out heavy rain. I am very happy with the product, as are the cats!
