I have bought these sneakers from a local store before but the only size they came was too big. So I wanted a matching pair. I bought size SM/MED, I took a size 6 ring and my hands are 7 1/4 inches from wrist to the tip of my middle finger. They are snug and comfortable, so they work very well. I know from experience that the lifespan of the rubber band is much shorter if you live in a hot climate (wet or dry) than if you live somewhere without heat. However, they cost significantly less than local ones, so I can use them for a season or two and need another one while I live in the desert. I believe that those who live in temperate areas will work for several years or more before noticing the wrist weakening. In general I think they work a lot better than fingertips or gel that you can put on to get your fingers better on the fabric.
