The lights worked better than expected after reading the description and reviews. Yes there is about 15 feet of lead line which other reviewers aren't very happy with but it was listed in the description so it wasn't a deal breaker for me when I got it. In fact, the extra line came in handy because I simply mounted the solar array as high on my roof as possible.
