I love the texture of this gloss, it's beautiful. and the shine is so perfect, it's very subtle but definitely makes your lips pop. It's also very easy to eat with it ;) but I definitely don't see it darkening my lips, it just makes them look smoother and feel really sweet and soft. If you are a black girl I think it will look good but not. If you are looking for a tinted gloss, take it so that the top coat covers the darker lips.
