Heats up quickly, about 2 minutes. something like a melting plastic smell when I used it. I was able to use it continuously for several minutes. activate and let you open. So you wait a lot longer to charge than you can use it. Definitely only suitable for small odd jobs unless you have a lot of free time. In addition, the instructions are poorly translated and contain several errors. NOTE: Warning in manual against "only" heating to 110 degrees. (does not specify a C or F) for "security" is VERY misleading. The addendum says it uses "steam 230 degrees Fahrenheit" which converts 110 degrees Fahrenheit, so I think that's what they mean. at 160F, but it starts dropping very quickly as the pressure drops. Still, it's not *safe* if you're not careful, so use common sense. Nothing is safe unless you use the right care.
