Poor workmanship, but it worked.

As mentioned, arrived with poor threading and misaligned/crooked solder joints. I thought about returning it, but I left and started collecting. First, the screws were loosely tightened to achieve proper alignment, and then tightened screw by screw. After that, despite manufacturing defects, it stood evenly and firmly on the ground. The poor finish acted as a screw lock so the screws would not come loose safely. I just needed a little more elbowing to get it together. In total it took about 20 minutes. I then ran tests on my 27.5 inch mountain bike with 2 inch wide tires front and rear. Both fit well with some play on either side of the strut mounts - quite stable. The brace didn't touch or hit my 180mm disc brakes or my 11-speed cassette. About 1/8 inch clearance for disc brakes and cassette was pretty loose. Also, it was tested on a 20" folding bike and installed with some play on both sides of the wheel, using the side for a small wheel mount. Worked better with the front wheel. The rear derailleur and bike storage tray/reflector touched the support rods, preventing the rear wheel from going all the way in. I didn't want my bikes to get scratched and wanted less play, so I lined up the rack bars with styrofoam insulation for a 20" bike. I then used road bike handlebar foam tape as the 27.5 inch bike mount. You might consider adding a 1/2" or 1" PVC tube to the bottom of the rack to elevate the front wheel of a 20" bike for a better fit, but so far so good. Finally, it was the lowest price compared to the other two brands. with similar stands This stand appears to be OEM and made by the same factory for all three brands as they all look the same in the pictures and similar manufacturing defects have been reported in their reviews.
