I have used three of these ceramic coatings including some very expensive ones. This is by far the best, at least in terms of cost, and also matches much more expensive compounds in terms of durability and hydrophobic/protective properties. We've used them on both paint and windshields and most recently I made a set of alloy wheels. with good results. On windshields they act like a kind of semi-permanent Rain X and improve wiper performance and visibility. When it rains lightly, we don't even need the wipers anymore. The car still repels bugs, bird droppings etc and the paintwork looks like new overall. Pros: 1) Extremely easy to apply, including a very nice little sponge that allows for very smooth thin coverage. You have to be economical enough to do the whole car and its windshield. 2) Installs quickly within 4 or 5 minutes. depending on temperature and humidity. Don't let it sit for too long! After a few hours you can only remove it with a polishing paste. 3) Easily removed with almost any towel, but microfiber is best. 4) Multiple use. Can code countertops, wheels, carpets, windshields etc etc. 5) Fairly easy to remove if you leave it on too long or miss a spot if you wipe your car with a towel - the surface takes on a weird look. Haze visible under certain lighting conditions and at a certain angle. The service will not work as smoothly in these areas. Easy application of the polishing paste - do not use any polishing paste! - easily removes it. Cons: 1) Doesn't include upgrades or "coverage" - but what do you expect for $17? 2) No other real issues or concerns.
