We bought this in June for my husband's truck dog. She is a Basenji weighing 35 pounds and this is perfect for her. I like that it's solid wood. No chipboard. Easy to assemble. Continuous. Attractive. This works for slightly smaller dogs too, but probably for a dog under 50 pounds (well?). We loved ours so much our elderly friend just got a new dog and my husband wanted to give her a lovely crate so we bought her one just like ours and I'll pick it up tomorrow. My only complaint will be with the door. does not stay open for our dog to get in and out. What I did was find a black metal doorstop here at Revain and attach it to the door (pictured) and it worked great. As a result, I preinstalled it on our older friend's box. and one more note. We found the 24 inch tray to be a perfect match for this drawer. The actual dimensions of the Midwest 24" spare tray are 23" x 16.75" x 1". This tray costs about $13. In general. We love this box and recommend it to others.
