Very comfortable and does not hinder movement. I have to say it takes a little longer to put on than the pads that attach to most shin guards. On the other hand I feel they offer a lot of protection and as an added bonus some ankle support. I've had them for a long time, they're strong, I haven't had any problems. Your heel and ball of foot are open so you don't slip when you sweat. Ideal for sparring and kicking, protects the toes very well. + Pros + Extra support and protection for your feet + Cons + Takes a while to put on and take off. Overall 5 stars, well worth it. Mototo always makes great products. I would recommend them to everyone.
