Review on 🏌️ Intertape 591 Premium Double Sided Golf Grip Tape: Superior Adhesion for Optimal Performance, 2" x 36 yd by Craig Lovro

I have this tape to attach a blank of wood to a wood base for a CNC router. Sometimes it works, but often it doesn't stick properly. It seems the top of the tape (below the white surface that gets removed during use) doesn't stick well either. I saw this tape for this purpose in a video. I've used a different brand of 3/4" wide tape for the same purpose and probably half the tape works fine almost always. I suspect I didn't receive the tape I was expecting. Any brand marks as pictured. Maybe it's old Duct tape or something but I won't be buying it again. UPDATE: The deeper I get into the roll of tape the better it seems to work. The outside of the tape may have dried out. If this trend continues I might upgrade my rating. UPDATE : I've already gone over half a roll of this tape, it's holding up much better now than it did when I started, a roll of duct tape, or I've figured out how much pressure it takes to get good adhesion, I'm raising my rating, but I'll go along with it Experiment with other brands of double-sided tape.
