Review on MSC International Plastic Microwave 26 035X26 035X8 89 by Jim Roberts

Overall I like this product but I have to deduct a star. Pros: - Absolutely adorable. - Nice design - Easily covers a container about 2 1/2 - 3 inches deep - Good air vents - Microwave stayed clean, although food definitely splattered when heated Cons: - Not dishwasher safe I wouldn't buy it if I knew that beforehand I have time because it's important to me. I washed it immediately (before eating) so the food didn't dry out on the lid and it was easy to clean, but I would have preferred to be able to put it in the sink, then rinse after I've finished eating and put it in the dishwasher to clean and sanitize between uses.” It shifted during heating and caused a bit of splattering on the plate under the container, but again nothing in the microwave. I'm not sure what would have happened if I hadn't had the container on the plate, but I expected it to stay where I put it for the full 3 minutes. The labels state that the time for a 1000W microwave oven should not exceed 7 minutes, and for higher power the time should be reduced. I can't think of when I would need to use it longer, but if someone wanted to microwave something straight from the freezer and it was tight, they would have to partially thaw it first or only use part of the time. I'm happy with my purchase but would like to share my feedback to help others make their decision.
