Accurate and Reliable (when compared with a $200+ device!)

This product is super accurate and such a great deal! Honestly, my family and I had tried several other $50 or less oximeters over the past year, and none had been great. Most had issues with turning on, having a way to turn them off so the battery didn't die, or giving readings that seemed at all consistent. I finally gave up and splurged on a high quality $200 brand one. I have 2 rare lung conditions and need to monitor daily. When this AccuMed oximeter came out, I had my doubts but thought I'd give it a try. I've been using it for a month now and it's never more than a point or two off from my $200 model! I like that this model has the graph as well as the other stats, and the numbers are honestly bolder and easier to read than my other one. It auto-rotates so you can easily see it from any angle, and the power off button means I've haven't had to change the batteries yet. It comes with a nice strap and carrying case as well. If you're trying to decide which one to pick, this is a really good choice and gets my highest recommendation for the value!

Pros
  • Seems ok but have only used it for one day
Cons
  • The device may be confusing or difficult to operate for individuals with limited English proficiency
