As you remove the container from this robot vacuum cleaner, nothing spills out onto the floor. Although I am aware that self-cleaning is an option, it is not difficult for me to empty the trash can on a regular basis. For me, cleaning myself is excessive. It runs for a very long period on a single charge, long enough to clean two rooms and the entire flat. Control is straightforward and can be done using either the application or the case's buttons, which I hardly ever use.
