This deep conditioner is a mask with a powerful weapon. This is one of the most intense I've ever used. I have waves 2b/2c, my hair is normal, porous. If I use it as directed and leave it on with a cap for 30 minutes, it ends up being too much moisture for my hair. It's soft and hydrated, yet so heavy. I've been doing CGM for 6 years now so my hair is pretty healthy. One "bad" thing I do is coloring and the best color I've ever gotten is Nice and Easy. So what do I use right after coloring instead of the conditioner that comes in the box (because it's full of silicones). I apply it after washing off the color and leave it on for 5-10 minutes. It doesn't make my hair look so heavy. If your hair is very dry or you are just starting out with CGM, this would be great.
