If you are, or think you are, a pro, look elsewhere. You probably shouldn't buy a $100 scanner, let alone review it and whine about it. But if you're new, like me, with hundreds if not thousands of old slides and negatives of various sizes, this works really well. I transferred them to the scandisk that came with it, and then to my computer. Very easy. Admittedly, the negative holder is an opening bear, but I soon realized I could just leave it in the machine, slide my 35mm negatives in, and pull them out the other side. I can take 50 year old negatives and the color is as good as a negative of this age can get.
