Great if you understand what you are buying.

I love this item and you probably won't find a cheaper "lens" with a range of 2600mm anywhere. It's basically a cheap telescope that plays the role of a crazy telephoto zoom lens. In order to be as specific as possible for those delving into this topic, I have put together a small list of things to consider. with this lens: This is essentially a 3.7 inch telescope. It doesn't pick up much light from faint or very distant objects, so if you want to photograph the moon it'll probably be great, but you'll have trouble with Mars. - It uses a T-ring mount (threaded) but comes with a matching Canon EF mount adapter. (No need to buy it separately!) - This is indeed a 650mm to 1300mm lens, but includes a 2x teleconverter (Please note that this reduces the effective aperture as the focal length increases. ) - This is FULLY manual Contacts to connect the lens to the camera in the first place, that means no autofocus, no exposure compensation, no aperture adjustment, etc. It also means that the best results are likely to be obtained in fully manual mode. de on camera.- It is heavy, long and awkward. (Approximately 3 feet long at maximum magnification and weighs over 4 pounds.) I recommend additional mount stabilization. It comes with a tripod mount on the lens itself, but I actually bought a telephoto tripod to match mine. maximum zoom. Remember that at a focal length of 2600mm, even the slightest jitter or adjustment will make a huge visual difference. (Think of some sort of remote shutter release for your camera, that might help.)
