Description of ๐Ÿ“ธ Opteka 650-1300mm Telephoto Zoom Lens for Canon EF-Mount DSLR Cameras: Explore Long-Range Photography with Sharp Clarity

ADVANCED OPTICS - Featuring an optimized design, this lens uses a series of 6 optical glass elements (one SD super-low dispersion) in 5 groups to reduce chromatic and spherical aberrations throughout the aperture range. A high definition anti-reflective coating suppresses lens flare and ghosting for increased contrast and color fidelity. SUPER ZOOM - 650-1300mm or 1300-2600mm with the 2x converter, this lens is not only a superb long range choice, but also performs well in a variety of scenes from sports and surveillance to lunar shots. SOLID CONSTRUCTION - Full metal body and rear mount allow this lens to withstand wear and tear much better than plastic lenses while commanding a rugged, solid feel when using. MANUAL FOCUSING - This lens has preset f-stops that correspond with the focal length at which you are shooting. An index for distance and diaphragm scale is inscribed on the lens barrel to coordinate focal length and aperture. COMPATIBILITY - Can be used on all Canon EOS EF-Mount full frame and APS-C cameras including 90D, 80D, 77D, 70D, 60D, 50D, 40D, 30D, 20D, 10D, 7D, 6D, 5D, 1D, Rebel T8i, T8, T7i, T7s, T7, T6i, T6s, T6, T5i, T5, T4i, T3i, T3, T2i, T1i, SL3, SL2, and SL1.

Great for the price.

For so much money, it can't be compared to this lens. Yes, manual, heavy and won't fit in a pocket; but to get such a focal length at this price is awesome. Take your time, set up your camera properly and you'll get some great shots. The image of the moon was blurred here. you can come closer As for the geese, they were about a quarter of a mile from us. Strong wind that day so not perfectly focused. The lighthouse is further away.

  • A sea of positive emotions

Good hobby lens for beginners

This is a decent inexpensive hobby lens if you don't want to spend $10,000 on a professional lens. This is fully manual control and you will probably want to use a tripod when taking photos. There are aberrations at longer focal lengths and not very detailed quality at 2600mm (image of an eagle's nest at 1 mile), but that's to be expected. It produces pretty good nature photos and is great for bird watching. I don't like the T-adapter for this as it comes in two pieces assembled together; Theโ€ฆ

Love it. Opteka 650-2600mm telephoto lens, excellent.

Very cool lens. It is exactly as described on Revain so please be sure to check out the product specs and read more detailed reviews. I'll just do a quick test of the lens. This is a very large, heavy lens. You need a very strong tripod. It comes with a carrying case, lens cap and T-mount adapter. The lens itself, when extended, is marked with F-stops for the distance you want to shoot. You should be able to shoot in manual mode with this lens. Against this backdrop, it takes amazing shots ofโ€ฆ

Great if you understand what you are buying.

I love this item and you probably won't find a cheaper "lens" with a range of 2600mm anywhere. It's basically a cheap telescope that plays the role of a crazy telephoto zoom lens. In order to be as specific as possible for those delving into this topic, I have put together a small list of things to consider. with this lens: This is essentially a 3.7 inch telescope. It doesn't pick up much light from faint or very distant objects, so if you want to photograph the moon it'll probably be greatโ€ฆ

Fun in the day, difficult to use for astronomy.

I bought this lens 18 months ago and am satisfied with it. I photographed the tops of nearby mountains and climbed the mountains to photograph my garden. I studied astrophotography. Now I can tell the difference between this and a real telescope but for the price it will be an amazing lens for some people. Pros: Coverage. 1300mm is amazing and the optical quality is better than I expected. It costs a few percent of the cost of a "true" telephoto lens of the same range. If you're patient enoughโ€ฆ
