Review on ๐ŸŒฟ Shoyeido's Horikawa River Path Incense - Pack of 20 Sticks by Darryl Wheeler

New in incense. and apparently started with the best!

I'm in the middle of a deadly battle with fruit flies in my kitchen and I read somewhere that incense can help bad critters die quickly. Living in the country and keeping lots of vegetables gives rise to fruit flies and I've tried everything but spraying insecticide to kill them. It is important to find incense sticks that were completely natural. Bubble Girl's health issues aside, I was also happy to get something that would make my kitchen smell great (besides my cooking, of course!). After extensive research, I decided on this River Path incense sticks from Shoyeido. Wow. It burns for 20-25 minutes and leaves an incredible aroma in my kitchen for hours. It also has 0% negative effects on my breathing but 100% positive effects on my mood. The incense box has a tiny holder for burning the stick. The instructions on the box are in Japanese, so make sure you look for the arrow at one end of the box. When you open this end, the holder is inside. I just place the holder on a standard size saucer. The stick is small enough that the ash doesn't fall on the rim of the saucer. The question of impact on the fruit fly population is not considered. I think they also like it so much that their tiny wings flap. At the same time, however, I bought Nandita meditation incense and burned it in another room. it affected my breath and is terrible compared to the flow path so I might try the kitchen (for extermination purposes) instead. Die, fruit flies, die! I would highly recommend River Path to anyone with respiratory issues. Everyone is different, but it might be worth a try. This incense is amazing and worth every penny to me. I am addicted!
