🌿 Shoyeido's Horikawa River Path Incense - Pack of 20 Sticks Review

I had no idea these were short chopsticks and there was no place to burn. Apparently you need to buy a specific type of holder for this. I lit one and it was gone in no time and it didn't give me much of a smell. I wish I could go back but I opened one up and burned it. What a waste of my money!

The burn time is a bit short, but the earthy, but not floral, aroma is worth it. It's not as pretty or expensive as the Oedo-Koh "waterdrop" (worth it on special days too), but it's nice for a variety of everyday uses. An excellent daily incense is Shoyeido's Moss Garden. Enjoy.

This is the first time I try this incense stick and I love the smell of it. I'm a fan of sandalwood and find it beautifully balanced with a hint of cinnamon. The scent is subtle but strong enough and lasts quite a long time after the stick has burned down. Shoyeido is by far my favorite incense company. This fragrance could become my new favorite. The scent reminds me of warmth, strength and sensuality. I find Shoyeido fragrances light and delicate.
