200 Jeep Cherokee. I put a wider tire, 31x10.5 tire on the stock 15x7 rim. I did the same on a previous 98 Jeep Cherokee with no issues. Apparently the rear tires were touching the sway bar so I thought I would put spacers to accommodate the wider tire. I put 2" spacers on all four. After about 2 weeks I removed the front spacers because the tires were rubbing up against the stock fender flare. I couldn't turn as sharp due to the rubbing. Actually pulled the flare off the bottom of the body. Front end is good without the spacers. Back to the rear, the studs are about 3/4 of an inch long so when I put the spacers on I'm only getting about a 1/4 inch of thread. The tires are about 1 and a 1/2" from the sway bar so I have clearance but I don't think this is very safe. I've decided to go with a narrower tire soon so I can eliminate the spacers altogether.
