Review on NiteRider Pro 1800 Race Black by Lawrence Reuter

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I expected better. The battery hardly lasts.

I expected better for the price. The battery doesn't last as long as advertised. The power connector is very odd and only plugs in one way, but there's no visual indicator showing how to do it, so you'll have to keep twisting it until it clicks. Don't leave it plugged in for a few days. The battery reaches its maximum and stops charging; but then the blue LED will light up to let you know that charging is complete, but this will drain the battery while it's on and it will never charge again. So if you let it sit for a few days the blue light will come on to let you know it's full, but then if you go for a walk the damn thing won't even come on because it's actually dead. Bad design flaw IMO.

Pros
  • EXCELLENT DESIGN AND ENGINEERING with an elegant and thoughtful configuration. The handlebar mount places the light head squarely in front of the bike stem for a clean and finished look. Pro Scurlock connectors are used in line
Cons
  • Compatibility
