This Mandolin Pro product comes with fewer parts than expected, making unpacking less stressful. The plastic is thick and strong, feels premium. The blades are located through inserts inside the mandolin body. While it took me a while to figure out how to get them in and out, I was very impressed with the design and how little space the whole setup takes up. We've tried the wavy cut on apples and it was fairly easy, although we'd recommend a non-slip surface as the mandolin itself is very light. Cleaning was easy and dries quickly. Because the handle is securely attached to the main body, storage is also very easy. It's definitely better than keeping track of lots of individual parts. Some cons: no thickness adjustment, handle can take some getting used to, catching space can be a little flimsy depending on the type of food. Overall, I'm glad this is an addition to my small kitchen with limited storage space. I look forward to adding more variety to my kitchen.
