Review on 🧼 Delta Faucet RP47888 Soap Dispenser Body Assembly: Pump Head Sold Separately, Enhancing Dispensing Experience by Steven Thelin

The original pump assembly lasted about 6 years. This lasted about 1 year. I'm not sure what the difference is between the two, but this one on Revain doesn't look anything like the original. Since I didn't save the original, I can't compare it. I took this replacement and it seems fine except it sticks when inflated and barely leaks any soap. I tried cleaning it thinking it was dried soap but it wasn't. The spring appears to be fine, but it's hard to tell without disassembly. This will destroy that unit. I will when a new part comes out. My options are to buy a new one every year or spend $60 from Delta to get a brand new unit. Alternatively, I could have chosen a completely different brand to match the style as best as possible. By the way, there is a small reason why this Chinese mfg product shouldn't last more than 1 year. Unfortunately, little attention was paid to this development. This issue belongs to Delta, not the company in China that has addressed its needs.
