After 18 years my little portable bathroom heater died. (I was in the shower and smelled something burnt! The heating element must have burned out.) I searched Revain for the same product, but this product had higher ratings and an equivalent price. I was thrilled when this was delivered as my heater was missing on my trips to the bathroom! After a week I can honestly report that while it does raise the temperature in my bathroom, even with the 1500w switch it is not as warm as my previous heater which provided heat for 18 years. I can only assume that this newer device meets more safety standards than a device made nearly 20 years ago. If it lasts that long and I live in 18 years (I'll be 89), it will cost me 0.42 cents to use it. Not that warm, but it works.
