The OXO timer came quickly and at a reasonable price. Pros: * Auto countdown at end of countdown so you know what time you are * Numeric keypad is more efficient than increment/decrement on other timers. * Backlit numbers are easy to read in the dark. Negative (small)* digits are visible only when the backlight is on. Sometimes you have to press a button to see them. The backlight also consumes some of the battery power.* The memory is for the last shot only. You cannot store "5 minutes" for instant recall like some other timers can. * There is no magnet on the back to hold the timer on the vertical surface of the stove or refrigerator. I would buy/recommend it again.
