This phone mount works great in my 2009 Honda Fit. I have a "real" popsocket and my husband has a fake one and they both fit nicely in the socket. We used to have an air vent mount that kept falling out, but the CD player mount proved more than solid. My phone always seems to slowly rotate to landscape mode and the mount doesn't have enough resistance to prevent it. I end up having to switch it back to portrait mode every time we hit a few bumps or potholes. My husband's phone (Galaxy S9) didn't seem to have this issue. It's ok - I could just use it in one landscape at a time - but it's something to think about.
