The bike seat was bought for my wife. Your old gel seat cost more and was dry rotted after only 2 years. I tried a few others but they were terrible and hurt more. She needed a bigger seat to spread the weight off her tailbone and bring it closer to her hips. She hated her bike and complained of pain in her tailbone, back, hips and tailbone. She also complained that the bike didn't fit her and that it was inconveniently located. The new seat was very easy to fit and the tool that came with it was a great help. At first glance, the seat was a few centimeters wider and thicker than the old one. Looks a lot better and there are fewer seams to rot. Not only does the seat have more padding at the top, but it also has much larger spring dampers installed at the bottom. The saddle was also not as long as a traditional saddle, meaning less pressure on the pubic bone (or prostate). After two weeks of cycling, she was able to cycle for much longer. He was a much more comfortable size, shape and could adjust his position much better. Now she really enjoys her bike and claims the improved seat and riding position make it feel like a new bike. This completely improved her endurance, reduced pain in her back, tailbone and knees. We mostly ride gravel trails and the seat made it feel like a bike again. It fully absorbs shocks and distributes its weight much better. I would highly recommend this seat to anyone with similar issues, it has a great design, good workmanship and an unbeatable price. We are very impressed and finally enjoy the bike tour together. Let's hope it will be warm and the winter will last :-)
