I went to several stores to test some weighted blankets. Due to my insomnia and anxiety, I wanted to try the weighted blanket. I'm very picky about the comfort/feel of the material. I also sleep well and sweat very easily. I've been known to shed my duvet due to sweating and heat. Despite all of this, I was skeptical about buying a weighted blanket. I've had this blanket for a little over 2 weeks and this mink blanket sold me for weighted blankets. I slept better than ever! The material is cool and comfortable and the weight definitely helps my heart rate and tight muscles. As for sleep, I still haven't found a blanket that keeps me from sweating. Even though this blanket is way cooler, I still kick it off my feet. I wake up with weight to lose it, so that's a downside. But that would be the case with all weighted blankets. The only thing I like to "carry" is my duvet from room to room, TV room, living room, bedding. It's a workout with this blanket! It's also great when you're watching a horror movie! Overall it's worth the money to me.
