Review on Quickone Energy Saving Fuefuki Whistle Kettle by Tamara Jackson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

For some reason this teapot is AWESOME.

I don't want to get into politics but I was TRYING to buy a teapot that was made in the USA you don't know where. Really more just to support American workers and quality. I wasted too much time just trying to find a US made teapot. It didn't feel like $100, I gave up and bought a nice well reviewed teapot made in China. In any case it can't be related to the place of manufacture, this teapot I bought literally fell apart within a week so I had to return it. For ref. it was miller but made in china. Since I couldn't afford 1-2 teapots from the US, I stumbled across this cute Quickone Takei Fuefuki Energy Saving Whistle Teapot from Japan. The price was right, so I bought it. In short, the fit and finish is great. I love how the handle can be moved out of the way, giving you a huge open area to fill with water compared to a regular water jug on top of the kettle. the handle is tight. The whistle is VERY loud and pleasant. It heats up fairly quickly compared to other kettles we've had, and we've got an induction hob if that matters. Just a little scared? As mentioned in many reviews the kettle is very light and the metal seems flimsy BUT so far so good and no issues. We love this kettle and can only recommend it. Made in Japan. As for the build quality, this is also a plus.
