Excited about induction Previously

We've had this pan for a year and a half now. It worked great on our induction cooker - the water boils very quickly in the power boost mode. Until recently there have been no problems with corrosion or leaks. Inside, heat stress spots are now visible, which have turned into pinpoint leaks through the floor. We are sad - we loved this pot.

Defective, poor workmanship

The kettle came with a spout cover that didn't fit over the spout so the whistle didn't work. The kettle boiled dry but luckily I caught it before any damage was done. To return. I bought this as I didn't want the teapot to be made in China but if that's the quality I can count on then I might as well buy something made in Shanghai. I expected more from Japan.

Excellent kettle, except for the handle design

Excellent kettle, except for the handle design. I chose this one because I didn't want it to be made in China. When I brewed the first teapot and was about to pour it, the teapot fell on my hand and burned my thumb. The handle falls off too easily and the rivets aren't strong enough to hold it while pouring. I wish there was a way to block it or just make it more difficult. As much as I love the kettle and the simple design, I didn't want to risk any additional injury to myself or other family…

Super kettle is the best in the kitchen and dining room

Tk-250 is the best kettle I've ever had. It is made of lightweight, shiny stainless steel. The spout pours without dripping, even when I pour very slowly. The whistle is loud, though not melodious. The lid snaps easily and securely into place. The handle turns to one side. It takes a little getting used to, but the kettle is easy to fill with water (and even tea leaves). It is used every day in my crowded house and shows no signs of wear. Not much is needed for cleaning. However, I washed it in

Pleasantly surprised

We are moving away from the plastic and teflon tools used for cooking in our household. I was also looking for a non-Chinese kettle to make coffee and tea. They are not known for good materials in the manufacture of metal products. Not many others in this price range. The quality of the stainless steel is very good. Light weight, yes. Craftsmanship is top notch. Proper care is all it takes, it is not fragile. Don't put heavy pots on it in the sink and you'll be fine. The turning knob works as…

GREAT LOOK AND EASY IN YOUR HANDS (AND TO CARRY)

LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS KETTLE! The first. Removing the lid reminded me of taking the lid off a kid's cauldron - almost like pewter. But after using it and boiling it FULL of water it was so nice to water as its weight allows you to easily handle a full pot. The conclusion is that the handle folds. I don't like to fill the kettle through the spout, but through the hole at the top. I use bottled water and measure it out in a large Pyrex container so it's a lot easier to fill up than trying to pour…

I would give it 6 stars if I could

I have owned this kettle for almost 4 years so I think I can judge the quality of this kettle fairly accurately. Having tried several teapots before purchasing this one, I can say this has been one of my best purchases from Revain. I originally bought this as a temporary fix while waiting for Oxo to send me a replacement for a kettle that broke after just a few months. But instead of becoming a temporary solution, it has remained my main stove and the Oxo replacement is still in the box…

For some reason this teapot is AWESOME.

I don't want to get into politics but I was TRYING to buy a teapot that was made in the USA you don't know where. Really more just to support American workers and quality. I wasted too much time just trying to find a US made teapot. It didn't feel like $100, I gave up and bought a nice well reviewed teapot made in China. In any case it can't be related to the place of manufacture, this teapot I bought literally fell apart within a week so I had to return it. For ref. it was miller but made in…
