On the unit I received the edges around the cross were not polished as shown in the pictures. The buffing wheel apparently couldn't get in the nooks and crannies. It is also slightly scratched and not as polished as shown in the pictures. And it doesn't hold many ashes -- only a small portion of the internal volume is hollow, which may explain why it is quite heavy for its size. All that said, I'm happy with it. It's just not quite as finished as pictured, and I wish it could hold more.
