I know a lot of times your are setting up a canopy and the wind is just a little disagreeable. These bags help a lot. They won't save you from super strong wind, but they will mostly keep your canopy from flying off to be with William Shatner in space. We had our canopy up for a two day garage sale and it was a little breezy. We had these around the base of the legs and the canopy stayed in place for the entirety of the sale. I think you'd still want to stake down your canopy for higher winds, but these work great for a breezy day with the occasional gust of stronger wind. The material seems very sturdy for occasional use. If you were going to be selling stuff and have your canopy up year round, you may want to look at the hard plastic weights instead. Not sure these would hold up for constant year round work. For the price, these are decent options. I would get them again and remember that they are only as good as a realistic evaluation of your wind conditions.
