Lies! They DO NOT HOLD WATER!

I bought these specifically because the product info says they hold water. Not.Even.Close. I suppose if you filled them with rocks they would work fine, but I wonder how long they will last if you actually carry them around with the rocks inside. judging by the gaps in the stitching alone, I can’t imagine they would last long

Pros
  • Filled with rocks, they are the only thing that saved the canopy from blowing away.
Cons
  • The weight bags are too bulky to easily transport to different locations

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Only 23lbs of sand on my review.

Only holds 23 pounds of sand. You will probably need ball bearings or concrete to get the 30lbs. Bags are sturdy and handle is great for transporting. Have not had them long enough to determine durability but they seem heavy enough. Closure does not seem as strong as Velcro brand but they do hold shut for now. Very easy to fill.

Pros
  • Use High Quality Material
Cons
  • The weight bags can be expensive compared to other canopy leg weights

Velcro doesn't seal accross so contents spill out

Did I not get an insert? These seem like covers. The top has velcro seal BUT it doesn't go all the way across so contents like rocks n sand spill out. Water is impossible. Returning.

Pros
  • Easy handle and strong material
Cons
  • first time i used i had 2 of the bags ripped so now i have duck tape keeping the sand in the bag..

They work.not a substitute for staking down your canopy

I know a lot of times your are setting up a canopy and the wind is just a little disagreeable. These bags help a lot. They won't save you from super strong wind, but they will mostly keep your canopy from flying off to be with William Shatner in space. We had our canopy up for a two day garage sale and it was a little breezy. We had these around the base of the legs and the canopy stayed in place for the entirety of the sale. I think you'd still want to stake down your canopy for higher winds…

Pros
  • Made well & affordable
Cons
  • The bags may not provide enough weight for larger canopies

Perfect! Saved my event.

Saved my event! Wind kicked up as it does in Florida the weights saved the day (I used sand to fill them) recommend wetting the sand once you fill.

Pros
  • These look sturdy fabric is pretty tough.
Cons
  • The weight bags can be difficult to fill with sand without the right tools

Purchased these to replace sandbags for several grad party tents. I filled them with sand and they worked well for several days. After a rain, and a few gusts of wind, the sandbags ripped from the velcro that was connected to the tent poles. The stitching and bag material did not hold. Two of the bags tore from the tent and the tent blew over. Had the stitches been heavier-duty, I would recommend these bags. As they are, I'd try another brand before I'd order these again.

Pros
  • Canopies, Gazebos & Pergolas
Cons
  • The bags can be difficult to remove once they are filled with sand

Works to hold the tent

Works well holding tent down. Wish the strap was at the very bottom of the bag to hold the tent footing flat on the ground. Not water resistant. Not a super durable bag was punctured and now spills sand everywhere. Wish it was stronger

Pros
  • I use it for extra weight for my 10 x 10 outdoor tent
Cons
  • Straps broke the very first time to use, not made well at all

Revainrating 1 out of 5

It's not sturdy or durable. Very cheap material.

I did not like that it didn't deliver what it promise. It's not sturdy or durable. Very unsatisfied. The straps came off the bags like it was easy. Thank God my husband was near the window to see that my gazebo was about to fly away. We were able to catch it in time to tie it down to some exercise weights. I will not buy again.

Pros
  • Multipurpose Canopy Weight Bags Set of 4
Cons
  • The weight bags may not be suitable for use on unstable ground or uneven surfaces

Save your money. These are NOT durable and do NOT last long.

Purchased these bags for an outdoor market to hold my tent down. They held up for the first market I did and then started leaking sand everywhere. Two of them completely broke and the other two have holes where the velcro meets the bag. Horrible quality. Not durable at all. Save the hassle and find something else - these are worthless.

Pros
  • 6 x 6 x 20 inches
Cons
  • The bags can be time-consuming to fill, which may be a hassle for those who want to quickly set up their canopy

Seams rip open best in my review

I would not recommend. After 1 use Velcro straps were separating. After 2 uses, 1 bag completely burst open at the seam. After 3 uses, 2 more bags are now duct tapped together to try to hold them together. I could only fit 25 pounds of sand in each bag. I also used store plastic bags filled with sand inside each bag in hopes of making them more durable and it did NOT help. The black bags still burst at the seams but the plastic store bags inside the black bag acted as a liner so I at least…

Pros
  • The AMMSUN Heavy Duty Canopy Weight Bags are an excellent addition to your outdoor events as they can hold up to 120lbs of sand, ensuring that your tent or umbrella will remain stable and secure even in the event of strong winds
Cons
  • The weight bags can be a hassle to set up and take down, especially for those who frequently use their canopy

Works for my use: my feedback

I have a little, very old dog that really doesn't like going out and really hates it when the weather is bad, so.I have a canopy that I decided to stretch from the landing of my covered porch over the steps and the grass at the bottom to the side fence where I attached a set of canopy poles and at the bottom used two of these bags at the pole's base to add weight and keep the pole secure should a wind try to take it. This gives my little old furgirl a protected area and also provides a bit more

Pros
  • Keep my canopy from lifting in high winds
Cons
  • The bags can be difficult to tie onto the canopy legs securely

Must Have Anchor Kit

Works extremely well to anchor awnings, etc. in windy conditions. Requires very little space to store, fills quickly and easily with sand and water to hold tent/awning legs in place. Rugged material washes up easily after use and weighs only ounces. Highly recommend for use at the beach, campsite or backyard. Great for securing large umbrellas, nets for lawn games and more.

Pros
  • It hold your tent with no problem.
Cons
  • This tore second time using them

Easy to fill and mount

I particularly like the handles, as I can wrap them around the canopy pole for a more secure fit. I put plastic bags inside then filled with 80 pounds of sand in total and they hold my canopy very stable. The plastic bags are perfect for when it rains and I don't have to worry about the sand becoming wet and extra heavy. I will be buying another set, as sometimes the wind is more than I think 80 pounds can handle. They look good and are not so big that you would trip on them

Pros
  • These canopy weight bags have been designed to fit most types of outdoor sun shelters and canopies, making them a versatile accessory for any outdoor activity. The four-pack also ensures that you have enough weight bags for multiple uses, making them a practical investment for outdoor enthusiasts
Cons
  • The bags can be cumbersome and may require multiple people to move them around

Velcro already broken off

I bought this for my pop up canopy and there is 4 Velcro straps that go around the legs of the canopy and on 2 of the bags it has already come off which causes a hole at the bottom of the back which is not good cause I filled my bags up with sand

Pros
  • Heavy Duty Design
Cons
  • If one bag is lost or damaged, the overall stability of the canopy may be compromised

Holding down the fort

Filled with sand to hold down vendor tent at the farmers market. Would recommend. Easy to carry and holds down the tent.no spills.

Pros
  • Would recommend
Cons
  • One bag split on 4th day on beach with heavy use.

Little bit sandy for my opinion

I live in a wind corridor and this holds up my umbrella perfectly so it doesn’t fall over. Only complaint is that a small amount of sand does seem to come out from around the velcro

Pros
  • Portable Design
Cons
  • Depending on the location, it may be difficult to find enough sand to fill the bags
