Replaced clip phone holder which wasn't big enough for my phone but also tended to snag on the cable when attaching every time I plugged or unplugged my phone. jam phone. The mechanism for tightening the base in the cup holder is strong enough to keep the phone holder upright and snug in the cup holder, even with a good tug it stayed tight. The holder itself is quite short which was perfect for my use but please consider the height when ordering. It comes with two metal rectangular plates and a smaller round plate, packed with tape. I just put a plate between the phone and the case without using any tape. With my Samsung S10+ phone, I was able to fit a rectangular plate into the bottom of my phone case and still charge wirelessly when needed. The mount also easily held the phone upright at the right angle. I wish the magnets were a little stronger, but that's not a problem for now.
