Review on Stainless Steel COLE & MASON Derwent Salt and Pepper Grinder Set – Includes Gift Box, Gourmet Precision Mechanisms, Premium Sea Salt, and Peppercorns by Oliver Waiker

I bought them because Cooks Illustrated has given them their top rating twice in a row, several years apart, because they are painted. In a later review they stated that the dots are now in the are stamped metal so they don't wear out (2012 onwards?) I ordered them in 2019 and got the ones with the dots so they were made 7 years ago I wasn't expecting to get the old style after so many years, and was disappointed. But I've used them anyway and am very happy with how they work. They are easy to hold and contain just enough salt and pepper so I don't have to refill them often in my home kitchen and often meals cook for two. And the clear material makes it easy to see when it's time to fill them in. I would buy this as a gift for anyone I know who uses the S&P coffee grinder n needed. We want to be sure that the new dot style will be delivered instead of the old one.
