Review on ๐Ÿ›น Gullwing Sidewinder II Longboard/Skateboard Trucks: A Set of 2 for Smooth Riding by Jonathan Partridge

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Can turn around in a parking space! Great trucks.

BENEFITS: smooth ride Turns like a pretty penny Good build Looks great Good construction Stable Excellent adjustability EVERYTHING PROVIDED IF YOU HAVE A DECK SUITABLE FOR THESE TRUCKS. CONS: - Increases wheelbase by about 4 inches (not too much given the small turning radius) - A freestyle deck is STRONGLY recommended, pintails and such bite before a half turn. - (same as comment above) set lower on deck, big margin and long shot so build drop deck or maybe drop deck with risers (if too low scratched board). Enough loose ends to clean up the wheels on whatever pintail you're about to ride. 6 inches off the ground. *** - these are all little things that can easily be compensated. About this a few weeks ago and let me tell you it was worth it. up to 180 in a parking lot. It's very stable at full speed/flat and small hills, haven't tried a big hill yet. I probably wouldn't recommend it. Be careful with gravel and water when making sharp turns. I've nailed the bottom many times after going through a small puddle or gravel, even with soft tires. They're all big trucks. I highly recommend them. I built a budget board, bone red bearings (great for the price), a ztuntz deck, regular 78a 76mm wheels and these trucks, $120 for everything, can't complain. Also lightly tighten the kingpin nuts on both kingpins. Out of the box, it's ridiculously delicate. I turn around when I step. When tightened, it provides stability at speed and responds quickly and accurately when entering an easy or tight turn. If you really read all of this, thank you. You do your research. Excellent work.
