Description of 🛹 Gullwing Sidewinder II Longboard/Skateboard Trucks: A Set of 2 for Smooth Riding

For some exaggerated, easy turning, the Gullwing Sidewinders are definitely the trucks for you. Feature a 'double kingpin' setup which allows the truck to steer far more than regular trucks. You can generate momentum through turning/pumping. 159mm Hanger. 9" Axle.

Cool Wood Carving

Great Product. Best in combination with drop-through. Some of the fallen decks end up in the wheel. Make sure you have a deck that is a pintail or longboard. This thing has big wheel bite, and even if your board has wheels. The cheat will also be how high off the ground you get off the ground. It's hard to push when you're so high off the ground, but I mean, I think it makes sense. Sometimes I like to be higher, sometimes downhill, for example, I could do without that. This is a protection…

Great cars, no complaints. Be careful if this is your first installation.

They spin SO MUCH. They're fine for roaming around campus, and they handle a 12-story garage across the freeway like they were made for it. If you have them loose enough the board will plan for you, but due to the many turns (and board tilt, almost 90 degrees!) and rear end gliding on sharp turns, I wouldn't recommend them for beginners or if you don't have any have good balance. Definitely don't use them on a busy street until you get used to it.

Game Changer in Trucks

They really change the rules of the game, once you drive them you will be spoiled by ordinary longboard trucks forever. Surprisingly sidewinders don't make the board feel flimsy or unstable, you have enough control and stability to tighten the board's turning radius like you won't believe. The carving is so smooth, light and sharp, combined with the big soft wheels (I use Orangatang 80mm cone wheels), it's like riding on a cloud. Not just a recommendation from me, but insisting that you unlock…

They're very surfy, great for carving👌🤙

Bought two pairs of these, one for each pair of longboards I have. Personally, I see her with mixed feelings. Fishtail cruiser and it's relatively short compared to pintail. They are GREAT for a longer pintail as they usually suffer from a lack of manoeuvrability, you can surf more with them. BUT: with my shorter cruiser it is too unstable. as too unstable for my comfort. It goes so far that your ankles hurt because you have to constantly adjust the steering angle. So I decided to put one in…

Pros
  • They're fun
Cons
  • A little variety

They will revolutionize longboarding.

I had a skateboard shop more than ten years ago. I've sold longboards, but I've never taken longboarding seriously. Yes, Gravity Junkies were fun to watch and they're a fun and normal way to get around as long as you don't have to go to areas with a lot of foot traffic. But these trucks are amazing. It's one of those products "why no one has thought of". I have a Santa Cruz longboard. It's large (10" x 32") but shaped like an old-school soundboard. It was fun, but not always the most practical.

Can turn around in a parking space! Great trucks.

BENEFITS: smooth ride Turns like a pretty penny Good build Looks great Good construction Stable Excellent adjustability EVERYTHING PROVIDED IF YOU HAVE A DECK SUITABLE FOR THESE TRUCKS. CONS: - Increases wheelbase by about 4 inches (not too much given the small turning radius) - A freestyle deck is STRONGLY recommended, pintails and such bite before a half turn. - (same as comment above) set lower on deck, big margin and long shot so build drop deck or maybe drop deck with risers (if too low…

Pros
  • Nicely packaged
Cons
  • I won't say anything
