Review on π· I2CMini Excamera by Cody Wuol
If you want to manage I2C components with Python then stop looking now, this is what you need.
Great stuff. The Python library works great and is easy to extend to any protocol you need. I use them in automated test systems to collect and control data, I2CMini easily copes with this task. My only concern is that the USB ID is engraved on the bottom of the board, meaning you have to write it down before soldering it on.
