Almost replaced the TV and found my remote was to blame. After several attempts to buy/return poor quality remotes, I bought this one from this seller and it erased all my problems. With the right remote control the TV could be upgraded and now works like new. Find out. Update 2 December 2020 Well the remote is dead. Barely turns on the TV. Works sporadically, but today he can only turn on the TV. If you don't mind buying remote controls annually, this could be the option for you. Otherwise, spend your money and get a real OEM remote. Too bad because the TV works like a charm. It's just a crappy remote control.
