This thing is amazing. I bought one of the Haffies and took the motor and bike to my bike shop. Rear tire changed and bike assembled. You need spacers. I have a V-shaped battery, 48V/52Ah. I added a back carrier available on Amazon. Make sure you get one that goes around the seatpost and then attaches to the bike frame. The controller for this thing is huge. I found a waterproof 4x6 Yeti bag for the controller and attached it to the top of the rack and then put my saddlebags on top. Most Interesting: It's amazing. I got 30 mph with pedal assist on 5. I rode very aggressively for 12 miles and my battery went down to 52%. There's a learning curve. It takes if very quickly. The best thing to do is start riding and then pedal. You can use the throttle to get moving when you're not cycling. I really like how it has the ability to start uphill with the throttle or pedal assist, or you can actually use the motor to help you with the pedal to 1 a bit. I can still ride the bike just fine without using the motor. and you can't say it's there. I rode through puddles and downpours with no problems. I would give it 5 stars but the controller is huge and doesn't come with a pouch to store it. You have to use the screen. There is no pedal assist switch only option. The screen is large and takes up a lot of space. However, it displays voltage, battery life, odometer, trip meter, etc. and displays kilometers per hour very broadly and I can't find a way to toggle it. After adding a light and a phone holder, the steering wheel becomes a bit cluttered. In my opinion there is no better option on Amazon if you are looking for an ebike motor.
