Review on 🔶 3M Scotch-Brite Griddle Cleaning System - Quick Clean, Heavy Duty, 3-5 Minute Cleaning, Orange by Cynthia Bennett

We bought a 1 year old house and didn't have a frying pan before I thought it should be black. How is the black stone? I've really thought about replacing the whole pan but I'm glad I found this product. I followed the Traveling Jens reviewer's step-by-step guide to cleaning up. The only thing I would like to add is that for the first round I started with 300 degrees first. It got rid of most of the dirt, but it didn't really bubble, so I cranked the temp up for the 2nd lap. In places where I needed a little more, I left some orange peel for the mini round 3. I've had better results around 325-350, cleaner surface coverage but a bit thin. It bubbled and smoked when I cleaned it. I used a fairly stiff brush to get rid of tough spots but also found that the scrubber melted a bit at higher temperatures. After washing it with vinegar, I brushed the pan with peanut butter because of its higher smoke point. It seems like an expensive cleaner, but compared to the cost of these high-end models, the pan's clean surface is worth it.
