I cannot praise the quality of KC products enough. In addition to the excellent construction, these lights are very bright and easy to install. I hooked mine up to an auxiliary fuse box for power. I mounted the switch bracket over what I believed to be my rocker relay on the left side of the engine bay next to the battery using the same bolt that secures my aftermarket hood lifter bracket and rocker relay bracket. I had to cut the screw a bit to fit the switch in the bracket. See photo. They will be good in an emergency to work under the hood if needed. If you spend a lot of your free time fiddling with the engine compartment, then these headlights are perfect and will serve you well 99.5 percent of the time. The other 0.5 percent? Fine. These lights do not preclude the use of a flashlight or headlamp in the most embarrassing of circumstances (e.g. when looking for the nut necessary to tighten a KC light switch that has just fallen between the side panel and the battery. From personal experience speaking, you'll need a miner's headlamp at this point). I can only recommend these lamps!
