Review on ๐Ÿต Nippon Kodo Kayuragi Green Tea Incense - 40 Sticks: Enhance Your Space with Soothing Aroma! by Amber Olson

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Clear, grassy and sweet

I love Nippon Kodo Morningstar Green Tea Frankincense; However, the Kayuragi line is definitely a step above the Morningstar line. Although both flavors are similar, Kayuragi is less smoky, slightly sweeter, and has a very, very light mint scent. Reminds me of a fresh spring morning. The biggest difference for me is that with Kayuragi I don't have to open a window while Morningstar is just a touch of strength. This is currently my favorite incense. I could use this in the colder months when I don't want to open the windows or when guests are arriving. The rest of the Morningstar is fine if you open windows. I like to light them up while doing yoga. The packaging is beautiful, so it will be a good gift. The sticks burn for around 25-30 minutes and come with a small heating plate. None of my wands arrived broken. Verdict: Although it's much more expensive than Morningstar ($5.99 for 200 sticks), the difference in flavor quality is enough for me to buy it again.
