I love the scent of home decoration products

I was skeptical about the scent of matcha but ended up loving it! It doesn't cause me allergies and doesn't bother my puppy, which is a big plus for me. Husband loves it too!

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Good but not great

Great scent for incense sticks and incense holders

This is my first experience with the Kayuragi line and I love this scent! It is predominantly fresh, but also slightly sweet and slightly woody. Both stimulating and relaxing, if that makes sense. I can't wait to try more!

Pros
  • Hands free operation
Cons
  • Some cons

Green tea smells amazing!

I like drinking green tea, I like green tea flavors (e.g. L'Occitane green tea flavor). I've never been so impressed with the incense sticks I've bought before because they never smell like they're supposed to. This is the first incense I've bought that smells like anything other than smoke, and it actually smells like green tea. The sticks are short and thin, but they have a decent burn time and the smell lingers. I will definitely buy more from this brand.

Pros
  • holding my fists
Cons
  • sad packaging

Less "Matcha " More "Sweet Clean " Scent

If you're looking for incense that really smells like matcha powder or fresh green tea, this isn't for you. Aside from that, it's sweet (like a floral candy, not a gourmand candy), a clean scent that's light and doesn't linger. For those who aren't big fans of incense (e.g. find it too smoky), this is a good introduction. The smoke is light and the smell is enough to "clean" the air without being suffocating.

Pros
  • Brilliantly Made
Cons
  • No Insurance

The smokiness of green tea is at its best in this masterpiece from Nippon Kodo's Yakuragi line. There is an aftertaste. I often recommend this wonderful incense to my quitting friends because it has a certain aroma. The cool thing about green tea is that, like we know from brewing specialty green teas, we can simultaneously burn one of the fruit tree spice sticks, like wisteria or peace, or best of all, the aloe tree.

Pros
  • Nicely
Cons
  • No Performance

Clear, grassy and sweet

I love Nippon Kodo Morningstar Green Tea Frankincense; However, the Kayuragi line is definitely a step above the Morningstar line. Although both flavors are similar, Kayuragi is less smoky, slightly sweeter, and has a very, very light mint scent. Reminds me of a fresh spring morning. The biggest difference for me is that with Kayuragi I don't have to open a window while Morningstar is just a touch of strength. This is currently my favorite incense. I could use this in the colder months when I…

Pros
  • Finally bought it
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

Husband loves but too much perfume counter in mall for my daily use

I burn Nippon Kodo sandalwood every day. Actually several times a day because I'm totally obsessed with it. But my husband is fed up with it and also finds sandalwood a bit stronger than me. It goes to show how subjective these things are, as I find this green tea a little sweeter and more feminine than what I prefer for a homemade scent. Maybe it just reminds me of too many of my green tea perfume purchases in the early 2000s (when they were "new" and trendy). It really does look like a smoky…

Pros
  • Lots of positive vibes
Cons
  • Negative present
