Review on ๐Ÿต Nippon Kodo Kayuragi Green Tea Incense - 40 Sticks: Enhance Your Space with Soothing Aroma! by Brittany Moore

Husband loves but too much perfume counter in mall for my daily use

I burn Nippon Kodo sandalwood every day. Actually several times a day because I'm totally obsessed with it. But my husband is fed up with it and also finds sandalwood a bit stronger than me. It goes to show how subjective these things are, as I find this green tea a little sweeter and more feminine than what I prefer for a homemade scent. Maybe it just reminds me of too many of my green tea perfume purchases in the early 2000s (when they were "new" and trendy). It really does look like a smoky version of Elizabeth Arden's popular Green Tea Cologne. Don't get me wrong, it's great, but it's not something I want to burn everyday because it's a bit sweet. Very subjective of course, and ANY high quality Japanese bamboo free incense is still very enjoyable! I do not use it for meditation, yoga, or any other spiritual purpose, so I cannot vouch for its suitability for these activities. A small balsa wood box is a cute item, perfect as a gift, and a miniature ceramic tile holder is a lovely addition. I personally find it overpriced for the small number of sticks you get compared to my experience with Viva Sandalwood. But then again, any incense stick that doesn't give you a shopping headache is still a winner in my book in the long run. If they ever make a more herbal version of green tea, something like green tea smells more like a leaf or brew than perfume essence, I'll try it. But I probably won't buy again.
