Great product with phenomenal customer support from the supplier.

I purchased these binoculars for recon/moose and bear hunting in the Arizona highlands and was looking for something that could be used for long range observation. I bought it used and when I received it I found that the neck strap and tripod adapter were missing. By contacting Revain about the problem I was able to email the UK dealer to look for replacement parts. To my surprise, the supplier called me within an hour and arranged for the delivery of replacement parts. I also received an additional message from the supplier to keep me updated on the process. At first glance, the binoculars themselves appear to be very well made and come in a sturdy case. I first used them in an urban setting and found it very easy to read the signs from a distance. The first time I had the opportunity to use them outdoors was on a large mesa overlooking a valley in northern Arizona. I was at about 9,500 feet, looking in all directions over an area of several hundred square miles. Using the binoculars was quick and easy, although a tripod is highly recommended for the highest magnifications as they are very difficult to use free hand. The settings are easy and the zoom function works smoothly. The detail I could see from a great distance was amazing. There was some blurring at higher magnifications, but I believe that with some adjustment I can eliminate it to an acceptable level. Having to pack and carry everything when exploring, I found their durability very reassuring. These are binoculars for very long distances, but can also be used for other purposes with lower magnification, but are somewhat unwieldy in everyday life due to their size. They are ideal for use in marine environments when scanning long distances in open water. For its price range I think it's a good buy. The customer service from the UK supplier was phenomenal! For my use, I was unwilling to pay thousands of dollars for binoculars that I knew would be used in rough terrain and would fit my needs perfectly.
